Class CellOptions3

Namespace
GeometryHelper.Meshing
Assembly
GeometryHelper.dll

How a body is cut into cells: how each of the grid's three axes is divided, the joint between neighbouring cells, and how near a corner of the body a cut is moved onto it.

The options are immutable, so one instance can be shared between threads and kept as a setting. The factories give the usual ones: Grid(double, double, double, double, GridAlignment) for cells of a size, Layers(double, double, GridAlignment) for lifts up the grid's Z axis, and Divide(int, int, int, double) for equal cells by count; the constructor gives the rest, each axis its own CellAxis. Which way the axes run, and where a cell starts, is the MeshPlacement3's.

Constructors

CellOptions3(CellAxis, CellAxis, CellAxis, double, double, int)

Initializes cell options, each axis divided its own way.

Properties

Joint

Gets the gap between two neighbouring cells, along each axis divided; nought for none.

MaxDegreeOfParallelism

Gets how many threads may cut at once; -1 for every processor.

SnapDistance

Gets how near a corner of the body a cut has to come to be moved onto it; nought for the point tolerance. A grid with joints snaps within the point tolerance only.

X

Gets how the grid's X axis is divided.

Y

Gets how the grid's Y axis is divided.

Z

Gets how the grid's Z axis is divided.

Methods

Divide(int, int, int, double)

As many equal cells along each axis as asked, from the body's first side to its far one.

Equals(CellOptions3)

Determines whether another set of options cuts a body the same way.

Equals(object)

Determines whether the specified object is an equal set of options.

GetHashCode()

Returns the hash code for these options.

Grid(double, double, double, double, GridAlignment)

Cells of a size along each axis, standing against the body as the alignment says along all three.

Layers(double, double, GridAlignment)

Layers of a thickness up the grid's Z axis, the body left whole along X and Y, as the lifts of a pour.

ToString()

Describes the options.
