Default distance threshold for deciding whether a set of points lies on a common plane: a hundredth of a millimetre in a model in millimetres, the same as DefaultEqualPoint.
public const double DefaultEqualPlanar = 0.01
Returns
- double
- Default distance threshold for deciding whether a set of points lies on a common plane: a hundredth of a millimetre in a model in millimetres, the same as .
Remarks
As wide as the point threshold, a point that counts as one with another counts as on every plane that other is on, and the booleans cut and glue within the planar threshold they are given rather than a narrower one. A modeller's own cuts leave faces further out of flat: a concrete beam Tekla Structures cut a notch into came with the top face beside the notch 0.04 mm out. Such a face is no polygon at this threshold, but the Tekla and IFC conversions keep it as triangles on its own corners (FromLoops(IEnumerable<GeoPoint3>, IEnumerable<IEnumerable<GeoPoint3>>, Tolerance)), so the body stays closed and nothing is taken as flat that is not.
