ToGeoSolids(ReferenceModelObject, IfcConvertOptions)

Converts one reference object into bodies in the current work plane.

public static GeoSolid3[] ToGeoSolids(this ReferenceModelObject referenceObject, IfcConvertOptions options = null)

Parameters

referenceObject ReferenceModelObject

The reference object.

options IfcConvertOptions

The conversion settings; see CreateIfcConvertOptions(ReferenceModel, IfcConvertOptions).

Returns

GeoSolid3[]

The bodies of the object's IFC product; empty when it cannot be converted.

Exceptions

ArgumentNullException

Thrown when referenceObject is null.

ToGeoSolids(IEnumerable<ReferenceModelObject>, IfcConvertOptions)

Converts reference objects, of any number of reference models and IFC files, into bodies in the current work plane.

Parameters

referenceObjects IEnumerable<ReferenceModelObject>

The reference objects, for example those selected in the model.

options IfcConvertOptions

The conversion settings; see CreateIfcConvertOptions(ReferenceModel, IfcConvertOptions).

Returns

GeoSolid3[]

The bodies that could be read. An IFC product can have several; see ToIfcGeometries(IEnumerable<ReferenceModelObject>, IfcConvertOptions) to tell whose they are.

Exceptions

Thrown when referenceObjects is null.
