Class PolygonConvert

Namespace
GeometryHelper.TeklaConvert
Assembly
GeometryHelper.TeklaConvert.dll

Provides extension methods to convert Tekla model polygons to GeometryHelper geometry.

public static class PolygonConvert
Inheritance

Inherited Members

Remarks

A Tekla Polygon is a run of points and nothing more — it carries no flag saying whether it closes — so it converts to a GeoPolyline3 unless it is asked for a loop. It is the shape every kind of reinforcement is set out by, which is why the reading lives here rather than being written out again for each of them.

Methods

ToGeoPolygon3(Polygon)

Converts a Tekla polygon to a GeometryHelper loop.

ToGeoPolygon3(Polygon, Tolerance)

Converts a Tekla polygon to a GeometryHelper loop, within a tolerance.

ToGeoPolygonArc3(Polygon, double)

Converts a Tekla polygon to a closed loop that may curve, bending it at each corner.

ToGeoPolygonArc3(Polygon, double, Tolerance)

Converts a Tekla polygon to a closed loop that may curve, bending it at each corner, within a tolerance.

ToGeoPolyline3(Polygon)

Converts a Tekla polygon to a GeometryHelper chain.

ToGeoPolylineArc3(Polygon, IList<double>)

Converts a Tekla polygon to a chain that may curve, bending it at each turn.

ToGeoPolylineArc3(Polygon, IList<double>, Tolerance)

Converts a Tekla polygon to a chain that may curve, bending it at each turn, within a tolerance.

ToTeklaPoints(Polygon)

Gets the points of a Tekla polygon.

ToTeklaPolygon(GeoPolygon3)

Converts a GeometryHelper loop to a Tekla polygon.

ToTeklaPolygon(GeoPolyline3)

Converts a GeometryHelper chain to a Tekla polygon.
