Method SplitAtDistances

Namespace
GeometryHelper.Geometry
Assembly
GeometryHelper.dll

SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double>, out GeoPolylineArc3[])

Cuts the chain at a set of distances measured along it.

public bool SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double> distances, out GeoPolylineArc3[] pieces)

Parameters

distances IEnumerable<double>
pieces GeoPolylineArc3[]

Returns

bool

Remarks

Cutting a bar into a schedule of lengths is the usual way round, and one cut at a time was all there was here while a loop could already be cut at several.

SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double>, out GeoPolylineArc3[], Tolerance)

Cuts the chain at a set of distances measured along it, within a tolerance.

public bool SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double> distances, out GeoPolylineArc3[] pieces, Tolerance tolerance)

Parameters

distances IEnumerable<double>
pieces GeoPolylineArc3[]
tolerance Tolerance

Returns

bool

SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double>)

Cuts the chain at a set of distances measured along it, the pieces handed back as the other chains hand theirs, using the default tolerance.

public GeoPolylineArc3[] SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double> distances)

Parameters

distances IEnumerable<double>

Returns

GeoPolylineArc3[]

SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double>, Tolerance)

Cuts the chain at a set of distances measured along it, the pieces handed back as the other chains hand theirs, within a tolerance.

public GeoPolylineArc3[] SplitAtDistances(IEnumerable<double> distances, Tolerance tolerance)

Parameters

distances IEnumerable<double>

How far along to cut; anything off the chain is passed over.

tolerance Tolerance

The tolerance.

Returns

GeoPolylineArc3[]

The pieces in order along the chain; the chain whole when nothing was cut.
