TrySplitAtDistance(double, out GeoPolyline2, out GeoPolyline2)

Splits this polyline at an arc length measured from its first vertex, using the default tolerance.

public bool TrySplitAtDistance(double distance, out GeoPolyline2 first, out GeoPolyline2 second)

Parameters

distance double

Arc length from the first vertex.

first GeoPolyline2

The piece holding the start point.

second GeoPolyline2

The piece holding the end point.

Returns

bool

true if the polyline was split; otherwise, false.

TrySplitAtDistance(double, out GeoPolyline2, out GeoPolyline2, Tolerance)

Splits this polyline at an arc length measured from its first vertex, within tolerance.

public bool TrySplitAtDistance(double distance, out GeoPolyline2 first, out GeoPolyline2 second, Tolerance tolerance)

Parameters

distance double

Arc length from the first vertex.

first GeoPolyline2

The piece holding the start point.

second GeoPolyline2

The piece holding the end point.

tolerance Tolerance

The tolerance.

Returns

bool

true if the polyline was split; otherwise, false.

TrySplitAtDistance(double, out GeoPolyline2[])

Splits the chain at an arc length from its start, the pieces as a list, using the default tolerance.

public bool TrySplitAtDistance(double distance, out GeoPolyline2[] pieces)

Parameters

distance double
pieces GeoPolyline2[]

Returns

bool

TrySplitAtDistance(double, out GeoPolyline2[], Tolerance)

Splits the chain at an arc length from its start, the pieces as a list, within a tolerance.

public bool TrySplitAtDistance(double distance, out GeoPolyline2[] pieces, Tolerance tolerance)

Parameters

distance double

How far along the chain to cut.

pieces GeoPolyline2[]

The two pieces in order; the chain whole when the method returns false.

tolerance Tolerance

The tolerance.

Returns

bool

true when the chain was cut in two; false when the distance falls at or beyond an end.
