TriangulateSurface()
Breaks the loop into triangles that each lie within it, each arc cut finely enough that it strays no further than the automatic share of its radius, using the default tolerance.
public GeoTriangle2[] TriangulateSurface()
Returns
- GeoTriangle2[]
The triangles covering the flattened loop, counter-clockwise; none when it encloses no area.
TriangulateSurface(Tolerance)
Breaks the loop into triangles that each lie within it, each arc cut finely enough that it strays no further than the automatic share of its radius, within a tolerance.
public GeoTriangle2[] TriangulateSurface(Tolerance tolerance)
Parameters
toleranceToleranceThe tolerance deciding what counts as no area, and how near two edges may come.
Returns
- GeoTriangle2[]
The triangles covering the flattened loop, counter-clockwise; none when it encloses no area.
TriangulateSurface(double)
Breaks the loop into triangles that each lie within it, each arc cut so that it strays no further than a chord tolerance, using the default tolerance.
public GeoTriangle2[] TriangulateSurface(double chordTolerance)
Parameters
chordTolerancedoubleThe largest gap allowed between a piece and the arc it replaces, in drawing units. Zero picks the automatic share of each radius.
Returns
- GeoTriangle2[]
The triangles covering the flattened loop, counter-clockwise; none when it encloses no area.
TriangulateSurface(double, Tolerance)
Breaks the loop into triangles that each lie within it, each arc cut so that it strays no further than a chord tolerance, within a tolerance.
public GeoTriangle2[] TriangulateSurface(double chordTolerance, Tolerance tolerance)
Parameters
chordTolerancedoubleThe largest gap allowed between a piece and the arc it replaces, in drawing units. Zero picks the automatic share of each radius.
toleranceToleranceThe tolerance deciding what counts as no area, and how near two edges may come.
Returns
- GeoTriangle2[]
The triangles covering the flattened loop, counter-clockwise; none when it encloses no area.
Remarks
The loop is flattened as Flatten(double) flattens it, and the corners the arcs are cut at lie on the arcs, so a loop bulging outward is covered a little short of its arcs and one bulging inward a little past them, by no more than the chord tolerance.
Exceptions
- ArgumentOutOfRangeException
Thrown when the chord tolerance is negative or not a number.
