Remarks

A segment is a curve and encloses nothing. There is no inside, so the answer is only ever OnSide or OutSide; it is offered so that a caller holding any shape can ask the one question, and it reads the same way as Locate(GeoPoint3) does.

Locate(GeoPoint3, Tolerance)

Says where a point lies with respect to this segment, within a tolerance.

tolerance Tolerance

The tolerance that decides what counts as on it.

Returns

PointLocation

OnSide when the point is on the segment; otherwise, OutSide.
