Constructor GeoCoordinateSystem2

Namespace
GeometryHelper.Geometry
Assembly
GeometryHelper.dll

GeoCoordinateSystem2(GeoPoint2, GeoVector2)

Initializes a system at an origin, with its X axis along a direction.

public GeoCoordinateSystem2(GeoPoint2 origin, GeoVector2 xAxis)

Parameters

origin GeoPoint2

Where the origin sits.

xAxis GeoVector2

Which way the X axis points; its length does not matter.

Remarks

The Y axis follows from the X axis, a quarter turn counter-clockwise from it, so a system in the plane can never come out skewed: unlike in space, there is nothing to correct.

Exceptions

ArgumentException

Thrown when the axis has no length.

GeoCoordinateSystem2(GeoPoint2, double)

Initializes a system at an origin, turned by an angle.

public GeoCoordinateSystem2(GeoPoint2 origin, double angleRad)

Parameters

origin GeoPoint2

Where the origin sits.

angleRad double

How far the X axis is turned from the drawing's own X axis, counter-clockwise.

Exceptions

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

Thrown when the angle is not a number.
