OffsetThrough(GeoLine2, GeoPoint2)

Gets the segment parallel to a segment that passes through a point, using the default tolerance. This is OFFSET with its Through option.

public static GeoLine2 OffsetThrough(GeoLine2 line, GeoPoint2 point)

Parameters

line GeoLine2

The segment.

point GeoPoint2

A point the parallel segment passes through, on either side.

Returns

GeoLine2

The parallel segment, of the same length and running the same way.

Exceptions

InvalidOperationException

Thrown when the segment is too short to have a direction.

OffsetThrough(GeoLine2, GeoPoint2, Tolerance)

Gets the segment parallel to a segment that passes through a point, within tolerance.

Parameters

line GeoLine2

The segment.

point GeoPoint2

A point the parallel segment passes through, on either side.

tolerance Tolerance

The tolerance deciding when the segment is too short.

Returns

GeoLine2

The parallel segment, of the same length and running the same way. It is moved square to the segment only, so the point need not lie between its ends.

Exceptions

InvalidOperationException

Thrown when the segment is too short to have a direction.
