Property Offset

Namespace
GeometryHelper.Arranging
Assembly
GeometryHelper.dll

Offset

Sets the least gap between the edge of the label and the leader on both sides of it at once: OffsetTop and OffsetBottom both take the value. It only sets, and holds nothing of its own, so it cannot be read; the sides are what placement reads.

The gaps belong to the label rather than to ArrangeOptions because labels differ: a large text may have to stand further off than a small one.

public double Offset { set; }

Property Value

double

Remarks

Setting it overwrites both sides, whatever they held. To give a side a gap of its own as well, set that side after it: new ArrangeItem { Offset = 50.0, OffsetTop = 20.0 } stands 20 off above and 50 below, where new ArrangeItem { OffsetTop = 20.0, Offset = 50.0 } stands 50 off on both sides.

Exceptions

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The value is NaN or infinite; neither side is changed.
